Color Combo Question?

Our primary color is clover green.  I'll be wearing a white dress with a clover sash...the bridesmaids will be in white and clover and there will be lavendar accents....ribbons, roses at the reception....I thought that I wanted white roses for myself and the girls, but part of me wants to incorporate the lavendar color somehow.  Do you have any suggestions?  I'm stuck!   I've been debating this for months! Here's my dress (with clover sash)..

  1. If you're having lavender roses at the reception, why not have the girls carry lavender roses (or a mix of lavender and white) during the ceremony?  They don't *have* to carry a miniature version of what you are carrying.  You could also think about adding lavender accents to your bouquet.  If you are having a hand-tied bouquet, it is easy enough to use a lavender ribbon instead of white (like in the picture).  =)

Otherwise, if you are planning on decorating the aisle at all, you could incorporate lavender ribbons and flowers into that somehow, as well.

    Happy Planning!

  2. Try purple roses and see if you like them with some greenery added to it, I think that would be pretty.

Gorgeous gown as well as bridesmaids dresses!

Congratulations and good luck to you and your mate - may you live a long and happy fulfilling life together!

  3. I think if you did all white roses with a few lavendar accents and a lavender ribbon it would be just enough. Very nice colors by the way! I had my bridesmaides carry lavendar roses with a few white tulips and it was very elegant. Best of luck!

  4. Talk to your florist about possibly adding either lavendar roses or freesia to your bouquets, I had both in my bouquet and it was just lovely. Another option to consider is a mini calla lily, they come in a couple of shades so be sure to pick the one you want.

  5. without looking at your pictures (funny internet connection!)

i'd say to have a big bouquet of white roses, with as much foliage (in the clover) as you want in there, then maybe add some small sprigs of lavender, or some lavender coloured gemstone picks between some of the the roses- it won't be overpowering, but just add that touch of colour to tie it all together.  also, if you go for the gems, it adds a dash of glamour, without looking too 'bling'-y.

i made my own bouquet for my wedding last year, and re-did it about a million times before i got what i wanted!

    anything further, just ask! :)

  6. the flowers can be in white and lavendar with clover crystals and clover ribbons on the stems

do teh same colors for centerprices if possible

  7. You should speak with your florist. They will show you different bouquets and what will look best. You'd be surprised at the color combinations that will work.

  8. Perhaps you could either incorporate 4-5 lavender roses into your bouquet interpersed around, or else just add some lavender streamer type of ribbons to hang down from the bouquet.  Either way, they would not detract from the main white flowers of it.

    Have a great wedding!!!

  9. I really like your colors! Here are some bouqets I think would look good:

Here's a bouqet similar to yours with some lavander roses though:
