Here are the items that I have bought - there's no changing now without ALOT of extra expense & I'm on a budget. Our colors are black, white & red.

I'm debating the color for the flowergirls to wear. Should I put them in a red or since they are little girls (ages 5 - 7) should they maybe wear pink?

For the ringbearers - do I need to rent them tuxes? Could I get away with a nice red collared sport shirt and black slacks?

  1. I love the ebay dress.  Perfect price too!  As for the boys,  I would rent the tuxes!  I don't think the shirts and slacks would give you the formal look that the rest of the bridal party has!

I think that if you tried to match a red shirt for the boys you might end up with too many shades of red and that could look off in photos too.  Little guys look so cute in tuxes!  I know my son loves to dress up and didn't mind wearing a tux one bit!

  2. i love the dress you found. usually flower girls wear white or a simpler rendition of a bridesmaid. i believe the ringbearers would be able to wear a red button up and dress slacks but they have to match! have a great dy and everythingwill look wonderful!

  3. That is a beautiful flower girl dress, especially for the price. Somewhere like Target has a very plain white one for the same price.

For the ringbearers, even a tux at 50 will be a waste, I think, because they won't be wearing it again. At least if it were a regular suit, they might.  Or maybe even a white dress shirt, vest and dress pants.

  4. I love all of your choices!!!  So pretty!

You don't have to rent tuxes for the little guys, but if your wedding is in the evening, and everyone else in the wedding party is going to be dressed up, I would definitely put them in tuxes.

The dresses you picked out for the little girls are perfect!

  5. I think they should match your bridesmaids.  I don't think the pink would go. Also for the ring bearers..I think they need tuxedos. I don't think it would look right for all the groomsmen to wear tuxedos and then the ring bearers to have on polos. If I were at a wedding and saw that I would wonder what was up.

By the way...i LOVE that dress you found on ebay. Couldn't be any better for a flower girl!

Congrats and good luck with everything!

  6. I would put the girls in red or white with red accents and because of the formality of the bridesmaid gowns I would go with the tuxes for the boys or a red dress shirt and black slacks maybe-- not polos.

Agree with the other girls, the ebay dresses are a perfect match!

  7. i like your choices, i really like the ring bearer pillow you found. i think you should go with the dress you found for the flowergirl. for the ring bearer i think you should get a tux for him or do the black pants a dress shirt in white and a red vest. that way he would be dressy but you wouldn't have to get a tux. but i think he needs a little more than just a dress shirt.
