  1. you still need to treat these contacts as regular contacts even though there's no prescription...you will need to get contact lens solution to store them...do not put them in water.  Not sleeping in them is a wise move but I think you'll have to toss this pair and call it a lesson learned.

As a member of the optical industry I'm a little bit concerned that no one told you this when you got the contacts...where did you get them???

  2. You will need to treat them like regular contacts, place them in a contact lens case with contact lens solution at night. For tonight go ahead and put them in water.

  3. Don't do the water thing, it hurts like h**l. Go and get solution for the type of lenses you're wearing and use that in future as directed on the bottle. Sleeping with your lenses is extremely bad for you as it prevents your eyes from getting oxygen, that is why it hurts when you wake up and you have that dry feeling and your eyes look like you drank the whole night:-) It's quite uncomfortable. Good luck!

  4. get some eye contact solution but not on any account sleep with cosmetic contacts in your eyes or you are going to get eye infections or even lead to blindness it says on instructions to never leave eye contacts in ever or it will result in eye infections

  5. I've treated a number of folks who developed potentially devastating eye infections because of improper use of cosmetic contacts.  I'd recommend talking to a local eye doctor to discuss proper use and cleaning before using them.

  6. You can go to the store and buy some solution or sleep in them. If you want to see them tomorrow, and don't want to buy solution, your best bet is to sleep in them. Your eyes might feel a little weird in the morning and be a little red, but just take them out tomorrow when you buy solution.

  7. First of all you shouldn't be wearing contacts without being properly fit for them... even if they are non prescription.

Second of all you need saline solution to put them in.  If you don't have that then putting them in a bit of water for the night until you can get the proper solution won't ruin them.

  8. just put them in water for one night. they will be fine. i do it all the time and i can still see haha. then, tomorrow, run out and buy more solution and soak them in the solution for an hour or so, and clean them with the solution, before putting them back in your eyes.

  9. Throw the contacts away! Don't wear non Rx lens ever. I work in the career field and have seen lots of case of really nasty infections because of these lens. They are illegal in a lot of states.
