Color-coordinating purple?

Question

im redecorating my room, and purples my favorite color, so does anyone know any colors that go good with purple? im very specific about color-coordinating everything so im having trouble deciding. thanks :]

I just redid my room but before I was thinking about painting my room a bright, fun purple! And then, I would get a comforter like this:

because black and white look great with purple!! So, then I was going to add bright purple pillows to tie in more purple and purple sheets! (you can get purple pillows and sheets at jcpenny). But then, with the purple sheets I would pull back my comforter farther so the purple would show up more.

You could also hang some pretty white lights in there like these because white would show up great over a purple room!

Are you talking about bright purple or a softer purple, like lilac? Some colors that will go well with both types of purple are:

Cream

Chocolate brown (mostly only with lilac though)

Yellow

Turquoise

You can do different shades of each color depending on the color of purple you are going with.
