Color dye in fiberglass bathtub

hi! My name is "mrBrilliant". oh my god, i soaked a garment in my bathtub to wash it and the color ended up transferring to the bath tub. i tried bleach, nail polish remover, paint remover.... yechh.... if my owner finds out, he will charge me an arm, a leg and both my .....

Whatever you do, DO NOT use comet, bon ami, or barkeepers friend... they are all rather abrasive and it will scratch your fiberglass tub very badly.  Try using a cleaner-wax for cars... I use meguires car wax.  This has superfine polishers and cleaners in it and will not scratch the tub... The wax also prevents hard water spots from sticking to the tub, making it easier to clean.

I have found the best thing for stains is " Bar Keepers Friend "....it has a slightly acid base to it...so it gets out stains without scrubbing like crazy with an abrasive powder. Another product just like it is Zuds. You might even try some CLR or Oxyclean
