color of a life saber on starwars mean it is stronger or weaker? as growing up i always thought that maybe blue was the weaker one and green was the upgraded better one lol. idk what do you think?

Blue

Green

Purple

Yellow-very rare.

the red sabers are usually stronger because they are made of synthetic crystals that can't shatter as easily as the natural blue, green, and purple.

I think blue and green are for the good guys- I'm pretty sure that the blue one is for lower ranked jedis, coz from what I can remember Luke had one early in training and had a green one later.

And the red are for the bad guys.

The final step to becoming a jedi is to construct your own lightsaber.  The color is from a crystal.  A kyber crystal i think, but i could be wrong.  No variation of strength based on color, simply based on the color of the crystal used.  In the original movies, good guys were blue and green, and bad guys were red, but no real reason was given.  I am sure there is a made-up answer now in comic-geek-dom, but there was not originally.

Ithink the blue and green colors were meant to be jedi rankings and red of course for the bad guys course i could be wrong but u never know
