  1. Have either red or brown as the main color. Paint the room in that one color. Use the colors that she would like as maybe polka-dots (different sized, of course), stripes, hearts, etc.

  2. 13 year old's are usually hyper and easily distracted enough, so go for calming & soothing color palettes. Baby blue walls would work with the window treatments you already have. You could also do a new comforter to match the walls and use more vibrant pillows as accents to pop.  Otherwise you can easily find inexpensive curtains and start all over keeping the soft colors on the walls and bed and using vibrant colored accents here and there throughout the room to satisfy a 13 year old's interest.

  3. let her do it get curtains in the color she likes take the others back you do not need expensive ones and if she likes her room she will keep it nice then  if not go with pink for the walls

  4. white but just hang up some posters, sticker and stuff like that

  5. well pink goes good with red. and i guess brown. compramise with her. what bout purple??? or blue. just get pain samples and look at them with her. =] you are goona find somethin=]

  6. I find that baby blue would go with red, you might not think so but it does if you look at the colors together the are great! Also baby blue goes with brown, so I think she would like it, and so would you. But maybe, you could get her to save up some money and buy new window treatments to match the colors she wants, if you don't like my idea. But just try all the colors together you might like it.
