Color shimmers, blinking spots in field of vision?

All my life I've seen shimmers of subtle colors and blinking spots in my field of vision. I don't think the spots are floaters, they're gone in an instant. Anyone else have this? It's more of an occasional annoyance (if I start focusing on them), but they're always there.

  1. They are called muscevolitantis, a type of vitreous floaters the presence of which may be treated as normal unless their quantity is found to have increased suddenly.
