Color to Decorate Bathroom?

What color of towels and accessories should I put in a bathroom that has a brown/maroon/blue/gray tiles on the floor and light brown walls?

First of all, change you walls! they sound hideous! go with lighter colors!

Brown & 2 different shades of blue towels/accessories. Pretend the maroon doesnt exist. Its a terrible color for a bathroom.

Neutral colours. Go to a spa and use their bathroom for ideas.  Avoid maroon, unless its just a tiny bit. I'd use as few colours as possible, just tans, browns, beiges. And maybe for paint stale blues make a nice accent.  MAke the floor slate, and the sink either pedastal or surrounded by granite, if you need the cabinet space.

I would go with maroon or brown.

first off, it depends on how large your bathroom is.  if it is a large space you can go with a maroon (if you want to) if its smaller, go with lighter colors.  I actually just finished my bathroom (which is pretty large) in paper illusions wallpaper in burnished gold.  it looks GREAT!  here is a link for a picture that the website shows (its a little much) but you can get an idea of how it would look in a bathroom.
