Question:

Colorado DMV One to Many Fingerprint?

I want to know the following from someone who knows not speculation or condemnations:

1) How far back does Colorado keep their fingerprints on file for drivers. For example a buddy of mine said they had a license in Color in 1989 and has since disappeared,. Is his fingerprint from the DMV still on file?

2) Does colo run a one to many fingerprint check. For example if my buddy went to get a license under his real name would they run his print against prints that old and likely catch his 1989 license?

Since his print was with ink and now they are computerized is he OK? Should he soak his finger in acid before letting them print him?

Should he just say s***w it and not worry

  1. I wouldn't recommend soaking fingers in acid for any reason, unless you want to be worked on by a doctor and have your hands bandaged for quite a while. Acid is bad stuff. It'll eat the skin off but when the skin does grow back the fingerprints will be the same. You'll never forget the pain from it though.
