The Colorado Rockies’ talented shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is feeling confident heading into a new season. He is also happy as being the experienced player whom the franchise itself giving great importance at the moment. Playing from the last five years in the Rockies club, now sitting with ease, but with more intense duty of giving the franchise their lost confidence as they used to have some three to four seasons ago.
Tulowitzki recently spoke to the media and said the responsibility he is feeling lately, “This is the way I have always wanted to express myself, but for the first time in my career I really feel like it's my team. And the reason is Todd. I didn't want to step on his toes or overstep my boundaries. My respect for him is unbelievable, I believed that the locker room was still his, and I didn't want to make it where it was my guys and his guys. It was never going to be like that with me. I'd play hard, but I'd bow down to Todd because it was his team.”
Entering into his sixth Major League season, currently, Tulowitzki is busy in Arizona with his team-mates practicing in 2012 Major League Baseball Spring Training. His morale is high while his own fitness is also significant. Running and throwing at full speed, Tulowitzki has clear objective in mind to win the 2012 title. He wants to give everything in order to get good results for his team. The team and the management are fine with his approach and also giving him confidence to go and give the best game.
Last year, Tulowitzki was also exceptional with the ball, but this year, he wants to give his best game and wants to lift the 2012 World Series title. Two-time All Star and two-time National League Gold Glove Award winner can bring back the lost glory to the Rockies and feeling much comfortable getting the desired results. All those years, he has showed his best game showing no loop holes instead gave his hundred percent whenever he played against any tough opponent.
