Colored lenses on my dark asian eyes?

i really want color contacts with prescription but when i got them they ended up not showing up n my eyes.I'm asian so my eyes are dark but one of my friends who is black and also has dark eyes had grey non prescription ones and they showed up really well. Is there a brand out there or anything that will show up on my eyes? i want a purple or somthing with prescription cuz i don't wanna wear my glasses as well it kills the point.

Go where you did your eye exam and the optometrist can let you try on color contacts to see which ones you like before ordering them.

Maybe try talking with the people where you get your eye exams and see if they have any suggestions, certian brands probably change the color of very dark eyes better than others, since they sell them and deal with them all the time, they would most likely have experience in this area.

By the way, dark, asian eyes are extremely s**y just the way they are!

It's a good idea to try them out first to see how they look. I made the unfortunate mistake of getting blue contacts. Turns out they make my eyes look unnaturally blue. If you've seen those people from the Dune miniseries you'll know what color I'm talking about. So be careful when you choose.
