Coloring my dashboard

Question

im looking to spray paint my dash with that vinyl spray paint..

would i have to sand first?

also, would it go on plastics?

yea vinyl paint with work just buy little prep wipes u can by at auto stores to remove grease maybe a scuff pad if ruff surfaces are being painted

Myself spayed mine a few years ago and i did a light sand on the more smooth plastic pieces.It does need a good few coats and a lacquer adding also.

Sanding may or may not be needed depending on the surface. If you skip sanding it may flake off then you could always just buy another can and some sandpaper and do a better job.
