  1. silver objects - e.g. a vase

then leaves and woven stuff. white straw!

  2. I am a design coordinator for a home builder. I have seen several people do a purple color. The best colors to go with it and not be "foofy" like pink are: soft creams, bright white and silver. All of these colors and easy to find, great if you ever want to change and will give clean lines. A soft SOFT green can also look nice if done properly. If you want to bring in bolder colors I would do that with the accesories. You can bring in pink, bright or dark green, even blues can be very nice. It is all a matter or personal preferance but I would def. recomend bringing in colors other that, silver, cream and white, in accessories. GOOD LUCK!

  3. I love sage green with purple. Also silver accesories.

  4. White, silver, and other shades of purple would look very nice in her room. You could look for an outdoor chair (not sure what they're called, lol) - maybe white wicker? One that you can buy with a pillow with it - you could always recover the pillow if the color is not what you want.

Wood/leafy textured items wouldn't look awful either. Wood framed pictures, or even white framed would look nice. If she likes nature themed things, you could go to your local craft store and find all kinds of cheap vines/plants, etc.

The possibilities are endless! Craft stores are the best place to start - you can find all kinds of neat things there! :)

  5. Silver does go really well with light purple, as does pink or any pastel color (think easter eggs)

If you want to get a lot for a little, hit up a dollar store.  They have a lot of c**p, but some of the stuff is fantastic for the price.  You can get picture frames, candle stick holders (you can use them to hold up anything) shadow boxes, fake flowers, vases, ribbon...

I had my room painted in an ashy pink (the color was by Bear called "engaged")  And I had a really pretty spaghetti strapped dress that had pink roses attached to it (all over).  I got a pretty cloth covered hanger and hung the dress on the wall with a nail like a painting.  Then I decorated the rest of the room with "dresses".  (picture frames, miniature sewing models, old sewing machine...)

It was very pretty, very girly, and kind of grown up.  (which worked as I aged)

I'm sure that whatever you go for, it will be pretty!  Good luck!
