Colors for MOB and MOG?

My mother and his mother keeps asking me which colors they should wear so they don't clash with everyone else. I am looking for some opinions.

Wedding colors are white and aqua with accents of black

Let them find an outfit they like, I dont think the colors would clash and you dont want them in your wedding colors anyways.

Let them pick.  As long as they don't wear white or the same color as the bridesmaids.

I would go with something either silver or in the purple family.

MAYBE a muted yellow/orange would work too.

you could have them wear cream but if you don't want anyone wearing anything close to white have them wear the aqua.

My FMIL is wearing chocolate brown (our colors are teal and ivory with gold and brown accents) and she loves it. My mom is wearing black and white (she's walking me down the aisle) and my Aunt (an honorary guest) is wearing taupe.

Slate grey is also a good choice. Basically any neutral (navy blue, grey, brown, black and camel/taupe) will work. As long as it's a neutral color, they will go with ANYTHING and they won't clash or stick out, and look like they belong there.
