Colour on a chestnut?

what coulour would look good on a chestnut mare?

Oh I've got a chestnut, he looks fab in electric blue, lilac, I don't put him in pink (even though it looks good) BECAUSE HE IS A GEEZER!!! Deep purple looks good on him too, and bright green.

Color of what?  I hope you are talking about halters and polo wraps, because plaid saddles are the worst.  I think purple, hunter green, or maybe a pretty teal/true blue would look good.

Dark colors like black are good on brown colored horses and even white looks flashy. Dark greens and even a lime green is neat. If your looking at tack, light oiled or dark oiled tack would look best.

I disagree, red looks amazing on some chestnuts and brings out the red in their coats. I also think that lime green, lilac purple, turquoise, hot pink, and bright fun colors look great on chestnuts. If your getting something that is two toned, white and one of the previously listed colors are gorgeous together.

i reccomend royal blue some purples and mint green. Sometimes burgandy looks okay but i would go with a nice cool color as it is complimentary to the red horse.

I personally like dark blues and greens but it would depend on what shade of chestnut she is.

hunter green. or white for special occasions, you do not want something that will clash with her colour.  Or dark blue is nice on a chestnut too.

if you have red/burgandy numnahs, brushes, rugs, headcollers and hat silks etc it looks so nice i have a chesnut and she looks the best i tried diffrent colours but there non as good. If you have burgendy brown redish tack it looks fab to. hope i helped enjoy and good luck...

for my chestnure mare i have purple stuff mainly  :)  my friend who has a chestnut uses royal red type of colours, that looks really nice!! and a dark green would look great on a chestnut too!!

dark blue or hunter green. chesnuts seem to look their best dressed in a darker color.

i have a chestnut gelding and i put him in red and  white with black tack and he looks gorgeous
