Colourful contacts - Good or bad?

Question

ust wondering if the contact lenses that change the colour of your eyes harmfull?

i really want some that are purple but my dad says that they damage your eyes, Is this true?

if they damaged your eyes, opticians wouldnt sell them

Ive never heard they were one way or the other. Best advice would be to ask a eye doctor if they are.

The color themselves probably wont harm your eye's but the contact's themselves if not cleaned properly can cause infections. I have had colored contacts to correct my vision and change my eye color for 8 years and have had no troubles. Like the one person said why would eye doctors sell them or offer them.

I wear color contacts they are prescription but I have had no problems...I also know people who wear color contacts not for prescription and they have had no problems...

same my mom says it damage your eyes if your not careful . u can get the monthly ones for 25 dollars. =)
