  1. I am pretty sure Jason got the Skins to the playoffs last year.  He only missed three games at the end of the year.  He will be good this year and better in years to come.  Did you hear Madden talking about him?

Brennen beat up on a bunch of scubs, He will proabably move to number two on the depth chart but I doubt he will challenge for the starting spot.  I am sure he will get a ton of playing time during the next couple pre-season games and we will see how good he turns out to be.

Either way the Skins only have one starter on offense and defense who isnt back this year and he was replaced by Jason Taylor.  21 returning starters, as long as Zorn doesnt blow it they will have a good year.

  2. Sad but true...this is Cambells job to lose- Brennen's success is an outcome of the system (Hawaii) and that dosen't translate to success in the NFL- If you went by his stats, he should have been the first QB taken-

  3. He is a rookie playing in a preseason game.  It meant nothing.  He was playing against other rookies and backups.

  4. By watching him in the HOF game, I was very impressed..It was only his first game and he was very sharp and mobile I might add..He's got a lot of confidence..In his press conferences he's always laughing around..He brings a good vive .Jason Campbell is a great QB but he seems to get rattled easily...Depending on this season they could end up puttin Todd Collins in if Campbell gets injured or plays real bad...But I don't think Colt Brennan will get a chance to start THIS year..He may be the long term future for the Skins if he stays with Washington

  5. Jason Campbell is still very young. Some QBs like David Garrard don't blossom until a few years into their careers. Colt Brennan was an afterthought in the NFL Draft because of his horrible outing in the Sugar Bowl against Georgia, an actual team. If he can't score a touchdown against a top 25 NCAA defense, then he can't score against an actual defense in the NFL (the preseason defenses don't count).

  6. Colt Brennan played in a very weak conference, back in Hawaii, so he could light up the scoreboards. Besides, Jason Campbell was showing flashes of potential, before he got injured in the Bears game.

  7. you either don't watch the skins or your dumb, Campbell is a very good QB who can take us to the playoffs. He was injured at the end of last year and he started the last 7 games the year before. Colt Brennon did a good job against third strings and people who wont make the team. I like Brennon and i think he will be a starter one day but not now

  8. I say he has a fair chance but it was just the preseason

  9. Calm down skippy. The job is  Campbell's to lose.

  10. It's a little early, but Brennan and Campbell could be in a battle for the starting job soon.

  11. Probably. He was amazing last night! i think he is gonna go home this year( the pro bowl in hawaii)

  12. Um no Colt should not start. He played in a laughable division that would be like playing the Lions all year. Look what happened in the Bowl game against Georgia he sucked. When he had to play a real team he bombed and could not lead his team, instead he had a mental breakdown and started crying. He is nowhere even near ready to play in the NFL. Maybe that will change in a few years.

  13. hmm...you have a point but he's a rookie....maybe i really don't know

  14. I think for the moment Colt should be playing for the 2nd string job. He showed that he is very accurate even in the NFL. College play to the NFL is very different. So the people that think that Colt blew it in the Bowl game means he isn't ready for the NFL need to get real. Now he has nothing but the best players around him not like at Hawaii. But he shouldn't start, at least not yet. Maybe if he continues to improve he can start some games at the end of the season. But I wouldn't throw him to the dogs right of the bat. It could damage him in the long run.
