  1. He's got skills, but let's not get hasty. It will be interesting  to see how this all goes down. 3rd team or not he still executed plays and looked good doing it.

  2. No not yet. Campbell was 100 percent on passing.

    Go skins!!!

What game did you watch? Campbell did not throw an interception in that game. Got sacked and threw a TD

  3. Don't even think about colt let him stay benched for 1 or two years then put him in obviuosly jason cambell ain't the QB

  4. Comeon that performance came against 3rd stringers and other guys who most likely wont even make the cut.  I have to at least see him play against 2nd stringers before even gving him a legit shot at 2nd string.  About the only thing fans should take away from the performance is Colt should be given a little more look at to see if he can play be the backup.  Campbell should in now way be looking over his shoulder.  come on people, yes football is back, but its still only preseason.

  5. yea some what but it was just preseason game personally i love colt brennan i hugged my bro when he completed his first pass and when he threw the td pass i cried. so i think jason campbell should be a little worried cuz collins did good for them last year and if colt keeps up the good work jason could be a backup

  6. Ok, so let's look at the facts.

He showed flashes of greatness against a third string defense.

Against a defense that probably was playing the simplest coverages possible.

These are people who would barely make the starting team at most colleges.

That might be why he looked good.

  7. If I was Jason Campbell I wouldn't worry yet. It was just a preseason game and Brennan was playing against the Colts 3rd string defense.

Now if Brennan did that against the Colts starting unit then I'm pretty sure Campbell wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

  8. campbell has the job locked down for now. but colt brennan was very impressive going 9-10 123 yrds and 2 tds and brought his team the win. he proved he can play at this level, but great? not yet.

  9. don't believe this is a sign of things to come. he played against guys fighting for a roster spot, not against a good defense. i wouldn't think jason campbell's job is in jeopardy. brennan might be better than he looked against georgia, but he doesn't project as a starter in the forseeable future if ever.

  10. yeah campbell went perfect and brennan slightly missed it but still he looked good

but although that wasnt the colts they were playing, that was some team with the colts uniforms

  11. well, defiantly he's going to be the 2nd string over collins. But I dont know, maybe Campbell should be looking over his shoulders. :)

  12. Yeah, he was on fire. He looked much better with his footwork, accuracy, and deep ball than he did at UH and the Combine.

But Campbell is safe, he is the QB of their future, and he looked even better on his limited action.

Todd Collins should worry about being demoted to 3rd string, he sucked on that game.

The Colts will prolly release Lorenzen during the rostor cuts, he did not impress me one bit. He did nothing in his extensive playing time.

  13. of course not, you shouldnt put much stock into that game. it was against 3rd stringers and guys who probably wont even make the team.

  14. wow..we should induct him into the HOF today !!!! looking that good against 3rd string players that won't be on a roster in 30 days...I mean WOW.....Montana is shaking right now along with Marino....

  15. Lol, I'd like to name Colt Brennan to the All-Preseason team.  He's got good company on the team: Mike Haas of the Bears, Jim Sorgi of the Colts, Brady Quinn of the Browns, etc.  The qualifications are to look good in the preseason, but never get a sniff of meaningful regular season action.

  16. jason campbell doesn't need to be scared of anything, he's going to be the starter and anyone who doesn't think so is on crack

i think colt can be a successful nfl quarterback if given the chance...if you watched hawaii last season you would know that he has a quick trigger, can elude the rush, and is a very good decision-maker...he would have been a first round pick if not for his size, his awkward delivery, and if he didn't blow up on the national stage in the sugar bowl last year

  17. i was thinking the same thing!

jason campbell will be the QB this year but next year colt will give him a run.

and dont forget about brett farve you can never put anything pass the redskins. you never know

  18. One preseason game against backups.  Slow down buddy.
