Columbia College Chicago?

Question

Whats your opinion about Columbia College? I want to go there to major in Early Childhood Education. I really liked Columbia because its different from other schools.

tough to get to. most people live downtown, real close by, which costs alot. the college is good, though.

I went there, although it was years ago, and I had a pretty good experience. In fact I got my first job with a newspaper through a teacher there (I was a journalism major). I liked it because the teachers actually worked in the fields they taught, not like a professor at other schools who's only experience in the field of, say, journalism, was teaching it; most of them never worked for a real newspaper in their lives. It's grown a lot since I went there. Back then there were only about three buildings in their "campus" but now they're stretched out all over the place. It was primarily a communications/arts school but they're branching out. It's located right in downtown Chicago so it's easy to get to from anywhere. Look into it. It's not a bad way to go if you're a dedicated student.
