  1. A combination of the above 2 answers is true.  Mostly, it was very unexpected and the police didn't know how many shooters there were.  People suing each other is not the answer.  All we can do is learn from our mistakes and learn from a tragedy.  Finger pointing solves nothing.

  2. I have read that they needed to help evacuate students and make sure they were safe on the outside. Its quite tragic that they didn't enter earlier. They also were't sure how many shooters there were, and they could have easily went in and they came outside and started shooting and ran wild and shoot into people's homes and the surronding situation. In my opinion instead of everyone sueing the parents of the shooters they need to slap a lawsuit on the swat team for not doing their job for what they were trained for. They would have went into a elementry school, what makes a high school less damaging to society. The main thing is they need to protect the evacuated students and staff, and protect parents, and other civilians.

  3. I was actually reading about this like 5 min ago. They say because they had to secure each area of the school and the fire alarms were so loud they had to do everything by like hand gestures and also because they did not have a map of the school which according to them resulted in why it took them so long.
