Combatives, blows to the head?

Do you always get dilated pupils if you have a concussion??

I had to do three rounds in a ring where the person hitting me had on 16-ounce boxing gloves and I was only allowed to block the punches, not punch back, for military training.

I'm not sure the last time I got a concusion was from getting hit with a metal baseball bat and not a fist. they must really have some punch to do that kind of damage with there fist inside such a large glove
