Combine U.S. Gunrights and citizens and UN Law to stop war?

There is a UN law about intervention when a country has made an illegal attack on another country. Would it be possible if this country was a member of the UN for the citizens which had the right to bear arms to use this plus the UN responsibility against illegal wars on nations to restrain their own country. Could this be something people could consider civic participation

  1. The U.N. doesn't have any real authority to make or enforce laws.

  2. HAHAHA, you forget that people of the UN are so enlightened they want to ban all guns (that only the law abiding will follow, making it easier for criminals and tyrants to use guns, bought illegally like they do drugs, against those who have been disarmed).

They don't have the balls to stand up to any threat, even if another country "illegally invaded" a neighbor.  They'd draw a line in the sand, say "if you cross this, there will be consequences" and when it's crossed, they'll pass another resolution that says "if you cross this next line, there will be consequences".... and it'll happen 17 more times... then you get the Iraq war... and suddenly you find out the UN had been doing business with the country that had "illegally" invaded another and that's why they would never intervene.

    Hope this helps.
