Combining Like Terms? Algebra 1?

(x²-9x +6) + (8x² - 2x +4)

9x²-11x+10

You add up x² with 8x²  which gives you 9x²

then add 9x with 2x and that gives you 11x

after that you add 6+4 which gives you 10

and than you put it all together and you get

9x² -11x+10.
