Comcast HD channel?

I have a regular tv is not HD and i have the comcast Motorola Box but the HD channel look either just plain blank or it stays still im guessing that is because i dont have an HDTV is my am i right or is there another reason why i cant see them do i need that comcast HD receiver or whats that for?

  1. yea, you need an HD package and an HD tv plus an HD receiver
