Comcast Internet - Does it require hole in walls?

We currently have comcast cable tv in the household and plan on either upgrading our dsl or go with comcast internet. How would the setup be for comcast internet and would it require any drilling in walls?

To get the best signal strength for your internet then it probably would require some drilling.  Because they would split off the main line at the first splitter.  If you have a cable outlet near your computer, then no drilling would be needed.  For optimal internet performance, you don't want to split it with a shared a tv cable wire.  But, my tv and internet are off the same split, but it's one of the first splits.  Bottom line is, if you insist on it then they will reluctantly give in and let you have it that way.  Keep in mind, signal strength drops considerably at each split.

    I know this may sound confusing.
