Comcast Internet Question While Traveling?

We are going to a resort for a week, and the resort has wireless access. If we are able to get a LAN at the resort and bring our cable, will I still be able to access Comcast internet since they provide me with a home box for my Internet and telephone that doesn't leave my house?

No, you will be connected to whatever the resort has.

Thats the same thing as asking " If i bring my home telephone with me to the hotel and plug it in will i get my calls from my home number?"

your comcast internet service only goes to your house.  You will be using your hotels internet service provider while your there.
