Comcast No signal?

My mom needs help with the TV and she just finished watching a movie and my step dad went to bed and my mom nor me couldn't figure out to get it off ''no signal'' it keeps on flashing on the screen. WHAT DO I DO!? I have no idea what to press. I have comcast digital cable where you can fast forward in stuff just to get an idea.

Sounds as if she watched a video on demand show and it's over so there is no longer a signal coming to the tv.  She should be able to change the channel on the cable box .

I'll keep my fingers crossed.
