Comcast cable problem?

i can use the dvr and on demand fine, but i keep losing sound and picture when im watching regular cable the first time it happened i just turned power off then back on. it came back fine. the second time this didnot work so i unplugged it and then plugged it back in . this worked ok for a while then it did it again. when i unplugged it this time i noticed E 68 on the cable box. now unpluging will work but only for like a few minutes. then the sound will just cut out. im really getting annoyed . the cable box is moterola . anyone got some advice?

  1. call the company, and tell them you need a new box.  if it happens again, just get a completly different box.  if that one doesnt work, switch companies. we have had the same box for about a 2 years now, and it worked perfectly for the first year.  this year so far, weve had to change it 4 times, but its been the same box. we called the company and now we are getting a completly different box.  i hope this works for you. :]


  2. sometimes the box is not the problem. looks like to me it could be a signal problem but you should have them give you a new box. you probobly get (one moment please) on the screen. you should call comcast  and have someone come out and check the signal behind the box and from the main box where the soure of the signal comes from.but call them you paying for the service.  ITS COMCASTIC !!!!
