Comcast controller wont control my volume....?

Question

ive had comcast for almost 2 years now, and just last week i went and traded in my controller for a new one (one of my buttons were sticking) theyre the same controllers and everything. but now i cant shut off my tv or control my volume with the comcast controller, i have to use the tv controller. so now im figuring that i have to program the comcast controller...but my question is HOW???? i have the dvr controller, and my tv controller is for an LG tv.

You have to find the code for your television. Go to the website below and it should have a list of remotes. Click on the remote you have and it will have directions on how to set the remote with the right code for your television.
