Question:

Comcast customers!! PLEASE HELP!!!?

I have Comcast Digital Cable and my screen is not showing any programs, but the little blue thing still shows up telling me the channel and what program is supposed to be on. What can be wrong and how do I fix this? I have called Comcast but they are idiots and are no help to me unless they come out and I am not home until late so that will not work. PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS!?!?

  1. Dump comcast and get Verizon FIOS


  2. first try unplugging it from the wall socket, wait a minute and plug it back in. This will force it to reload the software.

  3. I agree, Comcast is a bunch of bufoons. But, to fix it, try to have the cable company resend the signal. If you call their 800 # you can go through the voice prompts and one of them is for them to resend the signal to your box. You don't need to talk to an actual agent. That should do the trick. If it doesn't take the cable directly from the wall and plug it into your cable jack on your TV and tune to channel 3 (i think). If you get picture, then your box is hosed. If you don't, then sorry, but you'll have to have comcast come when you're there. They do Saturday and Sunday appts though.
