Harmony remotes are nice, but you can get a learning remote control today for less than 20 dollars from Best Buy, Circuit City, even the local drug store.

Comcast only keeps up with basic functions for various TV models. You can always keep the TV remote next to the Comcast remote if you don't want to spend any more money.

Comcast remotes are not made to replace all the features of your original remote, only turn it on and off and control volume. If you want a good remote to control all of your stuff AND give you all of your remote features you will need a good universal remote. I'd recommend the Harmony Remotes by Logitech, they are amazing, amazingly easy to set up and to use. They start around 80  bucks but they are money well spent in any Home Theater set up.
