Comcast or Verizon phone service?

I have comcast internet and cable and cannot to decide to switch my phone service. Anyone have comcast phone service that could give me some feed back. I currently have verizon basic with caller ID and no long distant for $35.09.

Go with the Comcast, The Verizon phone service is the same service we grew up with where as the Comcast cable will allow you to change all kids of settings right on your computer. I have the Optimum triple play and my main reason for staying.

I would switch to Comcast rather than keep the Verizon land line.  You'll get free local & long distance, the Caller ID and lots of other features for roughly the same price.  You might also get a discount for having all features through Comcast.  

Also, look into Vonage or Magic Jack for phone service.  With Vonage you'll get unlimited local & long distance, Caller ID, Voicemail and other features for $24.99 mo.  Or, 500 min. of calling with all other features for $14.99 mo.  A Magic Jack can give you unlimited calling - local and long distance - and all other features for $39.95 yr.  But I don't think the voicemail is as user friendly as the Vonage system.
