who you are is determined at the moment of birth? What about life experiences? Or doesn't it matter about the "nurture" side? Are we to become/are we now (and just in denial) what our astrological map says?

Nobody said that other factors such as life experiences, etc... don't play a part in how a person is determined. Most of us just believe that Astrology plays an important part as well.

That doesn't mean you have to believe it. You are who you want to be. And that means whether you want to believe in Astrology or not. Its really up to the person.

I am speaking as a professional who has been reading charts for over 20 years.

Nothing is locked in stone in your personal astrological birth chart. What I see are definite tendencies... I can tell if a person is artistic or musical or talkative or intuitive... I know if they had an easy or difficult childhood... I know what types of people that enjoy hanging out with, or if they prefer to be aloof... or if they are combative or compromising... I have a god idea what kind of a worker they are and how they approach romance... but free will is always involved.

One of the goals of seeing a professional astrologer for a reading is to help you understand your strengths & weaknesses, and how to best work with them.

As a simple example... I may see in a chart that a person has a tendency to rush into friendships that may not always be good or healthy... so I tell them to take it slower. Be a little more discriminating...

Or I may see a very sharp, intelligent person who is very aloof, and I may advise them to open up and share more, it might advance their career.

Do you see what I mean?

Personally I don't believe that your astrological date of birth has any impact on your life.  That's silly, otherwise everyone born at the same time would turn out the same which is definitely not the case.  Just look at twins - born at the same time but often radically different from each other.

No. Astrology helps you understand personalities, what challenges you've faced in life, what you can expect to deal with in life,  but you have free will in the long run. You determine how it all goes.

Life experinces do matter. However, who you are is determined at birth. the way the stars and planets are positioned at the time of birth effects you greatly. And it's not the "life experinces" that change you adn make you. It's how you handle those situations. How do you handle a break up-do you become a stalker? Do have an OCD when it comes to cleanliness? Do you have a hard time backing down form a fight, and you won't let go until you get your point across?

See how you react with your situations and people, reflects the sign you were born under. Some people are born under two signs which is known as a "cusp". Meaning you can take qualities from either sign or even both. For example a friend of mine is a Taurus-Gemini and although she has the qualities of a Taurus she tkaes more of her wualities from the Gemini side. Taurus' do not tend to be nosey but she is very nosey--and Gemini's are nosey--very...

Also this takes an open mind to undersatnd. If you do not have an open mind you will not understand and you will fight this to the end. Hope I helped!!

Every one is different no matter what month you are born in. Your astrology sign and when you are born just tells about personality traits not who you are just traits like being emotional or stubborn. It does not predict you future or how you will be in a certain situation that is yours to decide. Look up your astrolgy sign and see what it says about your traits and then see if it is right with how you are.
