  1. He's awful.  Has this guy hit over .290 in any year of his career?  Has this guy ever not had triple digits in strike outs.  It's either a strike out or a home run for this guy.  Not to mention he's a terrible defensive player.  I guess he wouldn't be that bad if he could go to an AL team and DH.

  2. He is good for homeruns and RBI's but don't expect much more than a .250 average and a ton of strikeouts.

  3. He's not that bad I mean he's not as good as Griffey but then again there aren't a lot of people who are right now but any way this guy is leading the Majors in HR's with 32 and will probably hit another one tonight

  4. i think he is a good player but he hits for homeruns and thats pretty much hits, he gets hits every now and then but everytime i watch him, if he doesnt hit it out of the ball park then he is usually out

he is good but not great, but with his home run numbers he probably has a fair shot at the hall of fame MAYBE

  5. He's a Big Time Power Hitter who just doesn't make enough contact with the ball. I would love to see him in a team with a great hitting coach that might help him work with his contact. If this guy lands in a team like like Texas, who has a great hitting coach, expect Dunn to have way better numbers than the one he has been having. He just needs to work with making more contact with the ball because with his size and strength, he doesn't have to hit the ball hard to hit it out. He is freak of nature, and I would like him playing 1B instead of LF. It's all about making more contact, but he's perhaps the strongest power hitter in the majors. No one in MLB has more HR's since 2004 than him.

  6. He only has like 18 more strikeouts than Manny and has a lot more homeruns, so no, he's not that bad.

  7. Nah he just strikes out alot and has never really had a high batting average...He averages 40 homers and usally has over 100 RBI a year.

  8. The thing about Dunn is you know what you get with him. He is average at fielding at best, he will hit 40+ home runs every year and have 100+ RBI's every season. He will be in the top five in strikeouts every year but will also be in the top five in walks too. He will average .250 in his career at batting average and will have an OBP of around .375. If thats what your team needs then there it is there!

*He will not create on-field or off the field drama by being arrested for drugs, drinking, he's just a good old Texan boy!

  9. The reason why people think he is bad is cause he SO's alot, but know one says Ryan Howard is bad cause SO's alot too. Do they? Dunn will give you 30-40 HR's a year and will get on base alot too. So if people are going to call Dunn bad please start to put Ryan Howard in the same conversation too.

  10. yes. i'm surprise he gets any hits. all he does is try to hit homeruns.

  11. I'd like him on my team.  He'll never hit for average and isn't the best on defense, but he hits the c**p out of the ball and brings toughness to his team.

  12. he gets a bad rap

he isnt the prototypical player and yea dont u wish he made more contact and did not strike out so much but he is wat he is and for all the bad he brings he also brings a h**l of a lot good 40+ home runs a year & 100 rbi's

  13. Dunn is one of those players that either strikes out, gets out or hits a homerun. He is batting less than .250 but he can hit a lot of home runs. He would be a decent pickup for a team that needs a power left hand bat.

  14. no his not that BAD, not yet any way.

  15. He hits a lot of homers, but he strikes out about as often as he homers. I have him on my fantasy team and I still feel he's worth having.
