Nick Diaz is looked upon as a piece of c**p. He tested positive for weed.(BIG FREAKIN' DEAL) Why did he gets a 6 month suspension for that when guy testing positive for steriods get lighter punishments. Marijuana doesn't help you in a fight. Some d**k reporter said weed makes you numb from the pain of strikes and came to the conclusion Nick is a cheater! I am a pothead myself and never smoke before jiu jitsu because it gets me tired really fast and doesn't let me focus. I am also a beener(mexican american) and might sound nieve but think his ethnic background is what people like that reporter, judge him like I get judged by others when I go to a corner store and get spyed on by the clerk, or am observed at the mall. Be honest, am I being fare in the sense of why mainstream MMA won't give him his do's.

  1. Get off his c**k, god d**n he's a grown man and actions have consequences, good or bad.

  2. legalize that ****!! no way its cheating, i remember smoking before a wrestling match....tired as h**l. marijuana doesnt benifit physical activity at all...if anything i'd want my opponent to be high. 6 months is outrageous. make him wait the 30 days to get it out of his system...maybe less with the metabolism those guys have.....ugh whats up with the anti weed people any way.

  3. Journalists are the most sanctimonious jerks, the only time I ever got an STD was from a d**n journalist.  Most journalists write because they either can't do won't do.

Maybe they ought to test the journalist for meth.  Most journalists are really screwed up people, they write about things they don't understand, there are exceptions.

Any one stupid enough to judge a group of people based on the insignificant and private actions of one is a total jerk.  Personally I was a big Diego Sanchez fan and I am a Josh Kosscheck fan.  Personally my favorite food in America is the burrito carnitas.

  4. First off, Diaz has more problems than just smoking weed.  He missed weight by 9 lbs before his last fight.  9 lbs!

2nd off, I don't care if your white, black, Mexican, Asian or whatever, if you smoke weed, your cheating not only your sport, but your self.

Weed is legal as a pain killer, how can you argue that is doesnt dull your pain?

Maybe you can't focus when smoking, but that doesnt mean that other can't.

Fair or not, there are other negative connotations associated with those that smoke weed.

If you are a serious athlete, you shouldnt be smoking anything, cigarettes, weed, crack, whatever.

As for Nick Diaz, he has a lot of talent as a fighter, too bad he's on the verge of throwing it away for the sake of being true to his homies.

  5. how is that a question?

  6. Actually Diaz should have been suspended ( Banned ) "for life".  There's no room in this sport for "Druggies".  As a matter of fact once you go pro and ever get caught in public being "drunk" then you've comprimised your own professional image and you should be suspended for that as well.

The martial arts lifestyle has no room for "bottom of the food chain" dwellers and that's exactly what all "Stoners" are "bottom of the food chain".

As far as ethnics go so what... every one's prejudice against something even you have foods that you like and dislike and any "liberal reprobate" could say that you're a "hater" just for your tastes in food if that's what they wanted to push on T.V.

Besides I think anglo-saxons like beating up on Mexicans that's why we put them in the cage with the white boys.

Stoner Mexicans in MMA that's the way to take the seriouness out of the sport huh?  These kinds of things are exactly why I now hate MMA and it's practitioners.
