  1. is your comet big enough to fit the guppy in its mouth?

Then yes. your goldfish will eat anything it can fit in it's mouth.

He's running for his life! Of course he's hiding!

goldfish shouldnt be mixed with tropical's anyway.

    They both need different water's.

  2. my guppy died tonight and it was hidding so not to be morge but when my fish die they hide sorry hopefully this isent the case!

  3. comet goldfish are coldwater and are not compatible with the other fish that are tropical

  4. guppies are flashyfish and flashy fish get atacked alot goldfish are usualy pretty agresive fish most catfish can fend for themselfs but knowing the species helps and many aquarium catfish are peacefull sugjest you dont have the goldfish with your other fish since gold fish are aggresive and create lots of amonia..

  5. well a goldfish will eat any other fish that will fit in its mouth, what kind of cat fish do you have? because a catfish like a spotted pictus will also eat any fish that will fit in its mouth, and they grown really big and will eat your fish. a fish that is stressed will go into hiding, as it feels that it is in danger.

Not to mention a goldfish is too dirty to really be with tropical fish, also they are a coldwater fish, but they do tend to adapt well to warmer waters, I say find a new home for the goldfish, and possibly catfish. (unless its an oto. or a kory)
