Comfortis users any problems with this medication and dogs health?

has anyone had elevated liver functions with this flea treatment our poodles liver functions went out of site she was urinating all the time

  1. I do know that you have to be very careful when giving comfortis.  It should not be administered too close to ivermectin/heartworm preventative.  I have also heard about nausea and runny stools, but have not heard about liver problems.  I wish you the best with your pup...


  2. I have used this for about 6 months now and I LOVE IT! No flea meds would work for my dogs... they vet said the fleas in the yard had probably become immune to everything...I didn't know what to do. The vet suggested I put the dogs on Comfortis.

    I have had no problems with it. The box says to give it to them after a meal-so I just make sure to give it to them after they've had dinner.

    All 3 of my dogs are on in... a mini daschund, a husky, and a german shepherd.. since I've been using it... I have no seen any fleas on them!  It's amazing!
