  1. It depends on where you're coming from.......

College life isn't always what it's cracked up to be. When we watched Porky's we thought we'd have a whale of a time but when we started we found out, to our disappointment, that there were no Alpha Beta Gamma Frat Houses in the Irish colleges.

    Sher you'll be grand!

  2. Hi ; ) Dublin is a great city to meet people, but it just takes a little bit of time.  You'll find that most people are pretty friendly, and the decent ones won't care what type of clothes you have (although, I recommend bringing warm things to wear as it's gotten really cold here in the last couple of days and also - bring an umbrella and don't leave the house without one in your bag - trust me ; )  )

I did a course in Griffith College College a couple of years ago and people were generally very nice.  You probably know this already, but Griffith College isn't really in the city centre but there's a bus stop just down the road from the main gates and the 16 bus will take you straight into the city centre.

Just relax, don't get yourself too stressed out because although it's a bit nerve wracking at first, lots of other people are in the same situation as you and you'll have made loads of friends before you know it.  Podge & Rodge speak wisely - you'll be grand!!!!

Best of luck with your course & welcome to Dublin x
