  1. I don't know which country you are in, but in the UK all the exists on a roundabout are on your left.  So you would indicate left just before the exit you want.

  2. no just go straight over and indicate left before you turn off

  3. No,but signal left before you exit the roundabout.

  4. No.  Only signal right if you are turning right.  Indicate left as you pass the exit prior to the one you want.

  5. No do not signal at all as you approach the roundabout.  Signal left before you exit (signal just after the turning before)

  6. No. If using second exit you should indicate once on the roundabout to show which exit you are leaving on

  7. You only indicate right if you're turning right on a roundabout.

  8. no, if you indicate right, i'm going to assume you are going right.

You can indicate left just after you pass the 1st exit.

  9. no u wazzuk roundabouts go left, why would u indicate right?

  10. Many drivers of larger vehicles do  indicate right as a warning they may  have to swing out to the right in order to negoiate a small roundabout or are being forced into a narrow lane. A similar example is when a very large vehicle turns sharp left into a narrow street. the driver must first move over to the right to allow more space to turn. I think it's a good idea!

  11. No because that says to me you are actually going to take the right exit from this roundabout

Just chose your land in good time as you approach the roundabout , and then signal left before the turn

  12. No,but signal left before you exit the roundabout.

    Signals and position.

When taking the first exit to the left, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise

signal left and approach in the left-hand lane

keep to the left on the roundabout and continue signalling left to leave

When taking an exit to the right or going full circle, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise

signal right and approach in the right-hand lane

keep to the right on the roundabout until you need to change lanes to exit the roundabout

signal left after you have passed the exit before the one you want

When taking any intermediate exit, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise

select the appropriate lane on approach to the roundabout

you should not normally need to signal on approach

stay in this lane until you need to alter course to exit the roundabout

signal left after you have passed the exit before the one you want

When there are more than three lanes at the entrance to a roundabout, use the most appropriate lane on approach and through it.

  13. No, it's confusing for drivers following behind

  14. If you drive a BMW, Volvo or Merc (car) then get into the wrong lane and don't bother to indicate at all, that seems to be the rule they follow.

Otherwise, if turning first left then indicate left, if going straight on don't indicate when approaching the roundabout but indicate left just before you leave.

If turning right then indicate right then indicate left just before you leave the roundabout.

Note that this rule is very difficult to apply on most painted on (as distinct from having a raised island) mini-roundabouts, best just indicate left or right whichever is applicable.

  15. no   u r****d    not unless your turning right   are you a backward  american ?

  16. Thje appropriate lane choice is base on the drivers desired exit or intended destination.  The left lane allows left turns, straight ahead movements and U turns only. Allowable right lane maneuvers include immediate right turns or strait ahead movements. In all cases, signs will direct drivers to the proper lane.

  17. If you are going straight over the roundabout you should be in the left hand lane. As you enter the roundabout you should not be indicating (if you indicate right you are sending mixed signals and being confusing). Only once you have passed the first left turn should you indicate left for your exit maintaining your outside line throughout the turn.

  18. No its not correct as you are heading straight on and it is a roundabout people behind in the cars should use a little common sense i guess lol ...

  19. I suppose you've realised by now that you don't indicate right to go ahead, but indicate left after passing the previous exit. Have you realised that if you don't know a simple thing like this it might be wise to buy, and read, the new amended Highway Code.
