Yes, it's a group of people who sit around a table and work out the details of their task in hand. I thought it was spelt with a double M, a double T and a double E at the end.

Actually I didn't know the definition, but I remember hearing the word in "See No Evil, Hear No Evil." I should have looked it up then. As many law shows as I watch you think I'd hear that word somewhere, but I don't think I have other than that movie.
