Comm signals analysis, or electrical signals analysis, for my MOS?

Im trying to figure out which one of these I want to go with. Which one would you guys pick, and most importantly, why? someone tell me something to help me make the decision.

  1. COMINT will involve a few minor people skills, and may offer the chance to go to language school later.

    ELINT, less so; it's even more computer oriented.

    If you are at all into languages, go for linguist; you'll still get to learn all the stuff the analysts know, plus get language pay.


  2. The Navy has the CT (Cryptologic Technician) ratings.  CTR deals with communications signal intercept and analysis.  CTT deals with non communications signal intercept and analysis, mainly radar signals.  

  3. Well, having been a "spook" it doesn't really matter that much, but I'd go Comm. You'll have a clearance that will carry over into civilian life and have fun playing with some REALLY neat toys. So flip a coin and "Disappear".

    BTW, after you sign the papers, you'll get a call from the Feds asking questions. Answer them truthfully and don't worry, it's for your clearance.
