When you open Command Prompt and right click its tab in the toolbar, what is the difference between Properties and Default that is listed there? I would appreciate any help at all!

  1. In the command prompt, the properties tab is just going to use the settings you choose for the current command prompt window and as soon as its closed, the default settings will return. If you open the default tab, there is where you can change the settings for the command prompt window that will return every time it's opened.


  2. default is the factory settings

    properties lets you choose the setting you want
