  1. just tell the head teacher! stand up for yourself and your childs right to have a proper break! your aloud to say what you said it wasnt affensive or anything you were just staiting the truth! walk in say straight away to the head, im glad we have this opportunity to talk about mr....

just cos hes the head teacher! dont let that phase you! you stand your ground! good luck

  2. tell the head teacher he is using his lack of time scheduling poorly and it is affecting the children. If I got out of class late- being a student- Id be pretty pissed myself. The fact that you stood up for urself and ur kid is awesome

  3. Don't worry, you'll probably just get a think time.

  4. Well I have no idea why you would have to go talk to the head teacher, which I am assuming is like our principals in the US. You made a comment as a joke, and it is a bit true. Do not be afraid, tell the head teacher no kids heard you and you do not like how late he lets the kids out. And what an immature parent to go and tell on you, she/he is very childish. You really did nothing wrong. Here in the US our principals would have no time to get anything done if they called in every parent that made a comment like that LOL.

Edit: A teacher here would not come out yelling at parent over a comment like that either, so I guess I cannot adivse as the whole things seems a bit crazy to me.

  5. He's being a little petty but you could use it as an opportunity to confront him about his inconsideration in letting the kids out late. Keep your cool but speak your mind.

  6. The whole situation seems a bit absurd. Another parent told on you to the teacher and then the teacher told on you to the head master.

Is it possible that the tattle telling parent exaggerated your words? You need to make sure the teacher is reacting to the correct comments. He could have been told you were being snarky. Comments sound different based on the tone used. So I would clear that up..

Now if it was completely clear to him that you weren't being hateful that guy needs to get over himself.

  7. I'm surprised you didn't go to the head teacher yourself.

I wouldn't put up with that. You are expected to get the kid to school on time, the school should be expected to live up to the same standards of punctuality. You might have a schedule to meet.

I'm in the US. I don't know what the rules are where you are.

    Good luck.
