Commissioning to an officer ? (USAF)?

If I choose to enlist first and later go through a commissioning programs such as ASCP or Professional Early Release, (a program without enough money to pay for housing) will I be forced to work in order to pay for somewhere to live?

  1. Why not just go to college first and go in as an officer to start with?


  2. Yes, you would work if you wanted more money than would be provided.

    You could use your GI Bill which would be about 1,000 dollars a month or more depending on where you live.

    You will also get a monthly AFROTC stipend between 250-400 a month depending on how long you have been in the program.
