  1. Jeez!  Why can't everybody let this apology/reparations bullsh*t go?

The state of Virginia "apologized" for slavery earlier this year.  And as the black female descendant of slaves, this "apology has benefited me exactly...how?  I still have to pay state income tax, real extate tax, and a couple hundred dollars a year in personal property tax on my 9 year old car (Ain't that a b*tch?).  And no black people, other than Jesse Jackson, give a d**n about "reparations".  That's just dumb.

I would be much, MUCH happier if everyone would just shut the h**l up about black people already and stop acting like we're some sort of bizarre subspecies.  There's been so much "Black in America" special report bullsh*t drama on TV within the past year that I'm starting to feel like I'm caught in the middle of some sort of national media circus freakshow.

  2. i think the south should appologize and the north should get a thank you.

both would be polite, but neither are important.

  3. I will apologize for slavery as soon as Britain apologizes for driving my Irish ancestors from Ireland.

Should I also apologize for being a citizen of the country that was far from the first to practice slavery but was the first to outlaw it?

  4. I am not responsable for slavery in this country...are you looking for a free ride? all those who pushed slavery are dead..give it  a rest. I am of Hispanic (mom from Spain) and mexican ancestry....my spanish ancestors enslaved my mexican native american ancestors...you see how ridiculous it is to expect compensation...going to sue myself!
