Common Italian surnames...?

I'm writing a legal thriller/comedy book. And one of my main character's mother is American of Italian descent, and I can't really think of a nice jazzy common Italian surname. Can someone help me with this one.

Hey I'm italian..i can give you some common surnames here: rossi, esposito (usually from naples), muffo, pasinetti, gazzaniga, leoni, cassibba, battaglioni, pezzotta, belotti, bonetti, bena, vitali, roncoli, furlan, comparin (usually from venice) , tocci, cesaroni (usually from Rome), micheli....
