Question:

Common Species Not Native to North America?

I knew horses weren't native to North America, and I just read that Honey Bees were brought over as well. Where can I find a list of some other 'common' plants or animals that were, in fact, brought from across the sea?

  2. You should really ask a biologist or a naturalist.

  3. I know that hyacinths are not native to North America, yet they overgrow many natural waterways to the point that the fish underneath them are starved for sunlight and oxygen because they steal the oxygen away into their roots.

    (I noticed that Kudzu is listed as one of the non-native plant forms. Kudzu grows wild everywhere in parts of the West.)
