1. Language barrier. Many people who move to a new country can't speak the language and so they can't understand what the locals are saying nor can they understand what they hear on the TV and radio.

2. Discrimination. Many locals resent immigrants and want them to leave. What's worse is that they are often blamed for the problems in that country and how good things would be if they weren't there.

3. Assimilation. Immigrants are foreigners and have different customs and practices. When the immigrants aren't trying to give up these things immediately, they are accused of bringing their "corrupt ideas" to the new country and corrupting the minds of the young.
