I have the common cold (scratchy throat, stuffed up nose). I need a really quick relief because in about 7 hours i have a performance (I'm in a play). I"m in a dancing role and have a couple lines. I need to know if there's anything I can do to help soothe my throat, un plug my nose a bit and give me some energy so that I can do what I need to do onstage. I don't want to be cured per say I just want to have about 1 and half of relief. If anyone has anything that can help, please tell me. Thanks in advance to those who answer.

  1. Take DayQuill.  Take two now and two about an hour before your play.  That stuff is the best for getting rid of cold symptoms.

  2. Take hot tea put a peppermint in it and drink it put a hot cloth on  your face and take a  nap. And you will be great in no time. Get well soon!

  3. sudafed. tylenol cold DAYTIME. or robitussin liquid to soothe the throat.

if you are "of age" you could try taking ONE shot of vodka. i'm serious, it kills the bacteria for a while in your nose and clears it up (temporarily!!).

  4. for your throat take excedrin migraine.... i know that sounds crazy but my throat has been killing me the past few days and it really makes the pain go away for a while. also take sudafed or something like that to help the congestion.
